The second 48 INDEPENDENT SHORT FILM FESTIVAL gives equal opportunities to every filmmaker from all over the world to screen their shorts at the Directors Guild of America in Hollywood.
Open call to submit short movies, from 3 and up to 30 minutes in length, of any genre.
Submissions may be from any country.
Independent short filmmakers are very important to us, and the filmmaking art is the springboard of young and aspiring creatives.
We want to promote talented filmmakers, and for that reason, we made the process easy, without formal restrictions on submissions. And because we love films we don’t discriminate between genres!
Will consider all genres and types of short films.

We regret to inform that we do not offer a refund of a submission fee once you’ve submitted your film. Please make absolutely sure you accept our rules and regulations before submit your film.
Submission fee is paid for your film to be considered ONLY.
You understand that submitting your film doesn’t guarantee that your film will be accepted as official selection of the 48ISFF.
If your film is not accepted, your submission fee is not refunded.
Save money on postage fees and avoid the hassle of producing, packaging, and mailing DVDs. Filmmakers can now submit their films online submitting a link by either VIMEO or YOUTUBE. Pay entry fee online using your credit card or PayPal. You do NOT need to mail us any extra materials.
